About the Center

Integrative Services

The Center for Complementary Medicine is a multi-disciplinary health center created by Rick J. Bernard, L.Ac. in 1995 to serve the Willow Glen community with a variety of complementary health care services. The Center offers a full spectrum of complementary medical modalities. Our core services include:

  • Acupuncture, Herbal therapy, Chinese Medicine
  • Chiropractic care
  • Integrative Health Psychology, Hypnotherapy, Biofeedback therapy

Healing Options

Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory
Many of our healing practitioners offer their personal passions to support patients in finding optimal health. Healing options include:

  • Therapeutic and sports massage
  • Deep Swedish massage
  • Shiatsu, Reflexology
  • Cranial Sacral therapy
  • Estetician services, skin care

Education at the Center

Our core team offers educational programs designed to teach, empower, and enlighten our patients. We offer:

  • Health talks for new patients
  • Workshops and interactive seminars
  • Group and individual programs: weight loss, smoking cessation, stress management, optimal performance
  • An interactive trigger point therapy and wellness workshop is held every other Wednesday evening. Call the Center for details and registration.

Our Guiding Philosophy

The Center for Complementary Medicine is a multi-disciplinary treatment center dedicated to providing the highest quality care to patients desiring optimal health and quality of life. Our dynamic programs of patient care address the physical, functional, and psycho-social aspects of each individual. Focused on sports related and pain elimination treatment programs, we interact with physicians in sports medicine, pain medicine, occupational medicine, rehabilitation, and family practice to integrate traditional medical care with our complementary services.
